The hobby “cycling” becomes a profession… a specialized cycling shop is opening in Kaisten.

After many successful years, a chapter of life comes to an end. The bicycle shop is closing.
Thoughts on Saying Goodbye…
Since 1992, we have lived our passion for cycling. Including the apprenticeship as a bicycle mechanic, it has been more than three decades. It was a wonderful time, and we want to say goodbye while we’re at our best.
Nearly 10,000 bicycles have left our small workshop in the Fricktal region during this time and found their way all over Switzerland. We started as an importer of racing bikes, embraced the mountain bike trend, and now bid farewell during the e-bike boom.
The bicycle industry has not always made things easy for us — fluctuating seasonal demand, a shortage of skilled workers, delivery bottlenecks, and warranty issues in production. Additionally, the Fricktal region’s location poses challenges for retail in the era of the weak euro.
Now we look forward to a new chapter — and perhaps we’ll meet again soon on a cycling tour.
Why is the cycling shop closing?
For almost 30 years, we have operated our cycling business with great joy and dedication. It has been a successful yet demanding time. Over the years, we’ve met many friends and loyal customers through our shared love of bicycles. But there comes a time to stop — especially when things are at their best. We sincerely thank all our customers who have remained loyal to us throughout the years.
I have a gift voucher for the cycling shop — what happens to it?
All vouchers that were not redeemed by the end of September 2019 remain valid. Starting October 1, 2019, please contact us by phone to redeem them. Vouchers can also be used at other cycling shops that cooperate with us.
I have a warranty case for a recently purchased bike — what should I do?
If you purchased a bicycle from us within the past two years and a warranty issue has occurred, please contact us by phone. We will make the necessary arrangements to handle the warranty case.
What happens to the sports trophy business?
Our existing sports trophies offering will continue. However, the physical store will remain closed.
We will maintain a showroom, which can be visited by appointment. You can find our full sports trophy range and further information at topmüller.ch/sportpreise.
